March 11, 2020: DNA Reschedules the 2020 DNA Annual Meeting
After continuous monitoring of the evolving situation with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is announcing today that it has made the decision to reschedule its 2020 Annual Meeting that was scheduled to take place March 18-21 in Denver, Colorado.
Rescheduling the 2020 DNA Annual Meeting was a difficult decision made by the Board of Directors after careful thought and deliberation. While an incredible amount of work went into planning this year’s educational program, and all of our speakers have put immense time and energy into their presentations, it has reached a point with COVID-19 where the DNA felt it was absolutely necessary to reschedule the Annual Meeting in order to protect the health and safety of attendees.
DNA leadership had been meeting on a daily basis to continuously assess the situation based on what new developments had occurred, but in light of the increasing number of confirmed cases of COVID-19, DNA leadership felt that even the precautions being taken to ensure the health and safety of attendees would not be enough and the best decision was to reschedule the 2020 DNA Annual Meeting.
The DNA will keep your full registration active and you will have the option of attending at the rescheduled dates of July 15-18, 2020, and/or you will have access to view all recorded sessions in the Online CE Center 2-3 weeks following the convention and earn conference CNE credits. If you did not cancel your convention registration prior to the February 24, 2020 deadline, you will be considered registered for the rescheduled dates in July. If you decide to cancel, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the DNA Registration, East Holly Avenue Box 56, Pitman, NJ 08071-0056 (fax 856-218-0557 or email dnareg@ajj.com) no later than May 29, 2020. A $50 administrative fee will be assessed on all cancellations. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. After May 29, 2020 registration fees will be non-refundable.
The Registration database will be closed for a period of time to verify any speaker or session changes. Once it is reopened you will receive a message in case you would like to view your schedule and make any changes in the event some of your speakers and/or sessions had to be changed.
All attendees should be aware that in order to cancel your hotel reservation, you must contact the hotel directly unless it was booked through the DNA. If booked through the DNA, the DNA will cancel your reservation for you.
All attendees should check with their airlines or other travel arrangements to determine the best way to change your ticketing.
The DNA wishes to sincerely thank everyone for their patience throughout this decision-making process. We apologize for any inconveniences.
